From our founding to becoming a leader in power generation O&M
Company formed as MOMI (Mission Operations and Maintenance Indonesia) — joint venture between Edison Mission Energy and Mitsui. Units 7 & 8 commence operations.
Renamed to EMOMI (Edison Mission Operation and Maintenance Indonesia) following organizational restructuring.
Following Edison Mission's takeover by International Power (UK), company renamed to IPMOMI.
Unit 3 (815 MW supercritical coal-fired plant — the first in Indonesia) starts commercial operation on March 27.
Renamed to PT. POMI under the current Paiton Energy consortium ownership: Nebras Power (Qatar), Mitsui (Japan), and Medco Power (Indonesia).
